[English] Digital Literacy

Digital literacy is the ability to solve problems using technology in a safe, responsible, and ethical way. It also means having skills that enable the research, use, and understanding of digital data and the ability to engage with emerging technologies. Digitally literate individuals are able to identify the rights, responsibilities, and opportunities of living in a digitally dependent and connected world. [1]

Digital literacy helps us understand how communication happens in digital spaces, including the social, cultural, and technological contexts. Digital literacy allows us to question, understand, and disrupt the power and privileges that extend to digital spaces. [2]
