interConnect | Editorial Projects/Projets éditoriaux

As part of interConnect, we are using Praxis notebooks to create editorial projects. By “editorial project” we mean a gathering of notes with a specific purpose or orientation. 

Each editorial project can be defined by aspects like intended audience, subject matter, tone, authorship, and/or structure of knowledge. The notes within an editorial project therefore have coherence, they are part of a whole.

The IMAA team has already started some editorial projects. Over the course of the co-learning group meetings we also hope that participants will come up with their own editorial projects! 

Here are some examples of editorial project ideas:

• A selection of inspiring practices for addressing a given challenge
• A glossary of key terms for understanding digital transformation in the arts
• A mapping of initiatives in a given territory, or all across Canada
• A deep reflection on a certain issue or challenge
• A curated collection of documents from a particular organization or project
• A set of educational resources
• Proceedings from a conference, symposium or other event
• Documentation of working methods
• Practical guides 
• A directory of organizations and/or resources

List of editorial projects

• Welcome to interConnect!: This notebook presents interConnect, an initiative that aims to bring together artists, arts professionals, and organizations to share knowledge about digital projects and practices. 
• Digital Initiatives in the Broad Visual and Media Arts Sector: This notebook gathers together existing digital projects and initiatives in the broad visual and media arts sector in order to learn about digital transformation in the arts.
• interConnect Web: A Gathering of Resources: This notebook gathers together a wide range of information and resources that are relevant for understanding digital transformation in the arts.
• Project Management for the Arts Sector: Information and resources about project management for cultural workers, arts professionals, organizations, and artists 
• Finding and Working with Digital Tools in the Visual and Media Arts Sector: This notebook is for sharing information and resources about digital tools and platforms that will be of interest to the arts sector in Canada. 
• Access and planning considerations for interactive media exhibitions: This notebook comments on a number of strategies for exhibiting interactive media on digital platforms, taking into consideration audience accessibility, technical literacy, and associated costs.

Cette note a été créée pendant interConnect, une enquête collaborative sur la transformation numérique. Apprenez-en davantage dans l’encadré à la fin du texte.

Dans le cadre d'interConnect, nous utilisons les carnets de Praxis pour créer des projets éditoriaux. Par "projet éditorial", nous entendons une collection de notes regroupée autour d’un but ou d’une orientation spécifique.

Un projet éditorial peut être défini par des aspects comme  un public cible, un sujet, le ton à adopter, les auteur·rice·s et/ou la manière de structurer la connaissance. Les notes d'un projet éditorial ont donc une cohérence entre elles, elles font partie d'un tout.

L'équipe de l'AAMI a déjà lancé quelques projets éditoriaux. Au cours des ateliers des groupes d’apprentissage collaboratif, nous espérons également que les participants d’interConnect proposeront leurs propres projets éditoriaux !

Voici quelques exemples d’idées pour des projets éditoriaux :

• Des pratiques inspirantes pour relever un défi donné 
• Un glossaire de termes clés pour comprendre la transformation numérique dans les arts
• Une cartographie d’initiatives dans un territoire donné, ou dans l'ensemble du Canada
• Une réflexion approfondie sur une question ou un défi
• Une collection de documents provenant d'une organisation ou d'un projet particulier
• Un ensemble de ressources pédagogiques
• Les actes d'une conférence, d'un colloque ou d'un autre événement
• De la documentation sur des méthodes de travail
• Des guides pratiques
• Un répertoire d'organisations et/ou de ressources

Une liste de projets éditoriaux

• Bienvenue à interConnect! : Ce carnet présente interConnect, une initiative qui réunira des artistes, des travailleur·euse·s et des organismes pour partager des connaissances sur les projets et les pratiques numériques.
• Initiatives numériques dans le vaste secteur des arts visuels et médiatiques : Ce carnet rassemble les projets et initiatives numériques existants dans le secteur des arts visuels et médiatiques afin d'en savoir plus sur la transformation numérique dans les arts.
• interConnect Web : Un recueil de ressources : Ce carnet rassemble plusieurs  renseignements et ressources pertinents pour comprendre la transformation numérique dans les arts.
• Gestion de projet pour le secteur des arts : Informations et des ressources sur la gestion de projet pour les travailleur·euse·s culturel·le·s, les professionnel·le·s des arts, les organisations et les artistes.
• Trouver et travailler avec des outils numériques dans le secteur des arts visuels et médiatiques : Ce carnet permet de partager des renseignements et des ressources sur les outils et les plateformes numériques susceptibles d'intéresser le secteur artistique au Canada.
• Considérations liées à l’accès et la planification pour les expositions de médias interactifs : Ce carnet de notes commente un certain nombre de stratégies d'exposition de médias interactifs sur des plateformes numériques, en tenant compte de l'accessibilité du public, de la maîtrise des techniques et des coûts associés.
