Biography

Having received a bachelor in anthropology by ISCTE-IUL, I pursued my interest in the ecological and phenomenological approaches of Tim Ingold at the University of Aberdeen, where I concluded my master's degree with a study on the relations between street skateboarding and urban architecture, coordinated by Dr. Jo Vergunst. My ecological perspective on social problems became intertwined with a critical view on our economic system, which led me to embark on a doctoral thesis project about alternative socioeconomic models to capitalism. Throughout this journey, I became engaged with AMAP Quinta Maravilha and with the integral cooperatives Minga and Rizoma, whose strategies and practices I'm committed to studying. (Source)
