Lesley is an independent consultant (http://lesleydyck.ca/) helping leaders deliver effective solutions to complex issues in public health, social justice, and nonprofit leadership. She has over 30 years of health promotion, public health and community development experience in Canada and internationally. Lesley is a volunteer and co-chair of Health Promotion Canada and participated as a member of the National Scientific Committee for the International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE) conference in 2022. In addition to working with a diversity of organization at the local, regional and national levels, she is the lead author for a new chapter in the 5th edition of Health Promotion in Canada being released in 2025. She is passionate about the power of networks and intersectoral collaboration to drive action on the social determinants of health and improve health equity. Lesley earned her BA in Mass Communication at Carleton University and her MA in Health Promotion at the University of British Columbia.
