The University of Cambridge is a public collegiate research university in Cambridge, England. Founded in 1209, the University of Cambridge is the third-oldest university in continuous operation. Its mission is to contribute to society through education, learning and research at the highest international level. There are 31 Colleges, six Schools and over 150 Faculties and Departments that make up the University of Cambridge, covering a vast array of subjects and specialised areas of research. It has more than 20,000 students, from 140 countries.
