PostScript: Disability, Accessibility, and Digital Publishing

PostScript was an online symposium organized in the Fall of 2020 on the topic and intersection of disability, accessibility, and digital publishing. The event was organized by Public Access, the Collective that runs PUBLIC Journal, in partnership and consultation with Tangled Art + Disability. The symposium featured invited speakers as well as newly commissioned artworks that were presented for the first time during the event. These works were selected as part of an open call for artworks and curated by Sean Lee, Mary Bunch, and Julia Chan. In addition to the public presentation and discussion of the works, they have been exhibited online in an accessible format with a newly created interface with accessible digital features by Surface Impression. The four participating artists are Hannah Bullock, Rachel Gray, Noa/h Fields and Stefania Gomez, and Christine Wu.
